WORKFLOW APP INSTRUCTIONS

  • This exercise is for 5 consecutive days of work.

  • EVERYTHING that happens during your working hours should be reflected here - whether that's work from home, from the cafe or your camper van!

  • The value of the analysis is only as strong as the accuracy of the information provided.  For us at ProMind Solutions to be best positioned to help you please ensure that ALL activities are entered as accurately as possible

  • When engaged in an activity or task, a conversation/meeting or phone call related to that task is still a new activity and must be entered as such.

  • Every time you are interrupted or disrupted is a new activity whether it be email, phone call, in person question etc.

Paper Diary

  • Enter name, date and day (note - all info shared is 100% confidential.  Refer to FAQ for further info)

  • Using the slide scale, rate how you feel about the work ahead (1 = unmotivated - 10 = highly motivated)

  • Enter the start time for first activity that you consider 'work', then enter a brief description.

  • There is no 'stop' time - the assumption is made that the start time of an activity signals the stop time of the previous activity.

  • All activities are relevant regardless of the purpose or time frame.

  • Using the slide scale, rate how you feel about the day you have had (1 = unmotivated - 10 = highly motivated)

  • Scan and email the completed diary sheet DAILY as a PDF.

  2. Set Your Work Schedule

    1. The start time will appear as a 9.00am default.  By clicking in this field you can change your start time.

    2. If you DO know your finish time then select the box 'I know my finish time (optional)' and select your finish time, then select 'Set Schedule'.

    3. If you DON'T know your finish time then after selecting your start time simply select 'Set Schedule'.

  3. Add Activity - select the activity that you are about to undertake.

    1. If you select 'Task' simply enter "Task 1" then in the 'Further Information' field, provide a brief description of the task.  Then if you come back to that same task later in the day simply enter "Task 1" again.

    2. If you select any of the other activities you only need to add 'Further Information' if you feel it is necessary.

  4. After selecting the activity, select 'Start Timer'

    1. When you select your next activity, you simply need to select 'Start Timer' again which will automatically stop the timer for the previous activity - you DO NO need to stop the timer or enter a finish time.

  5. When finished for the day you will need to select 'Stop Activity'.

  1. If you set your finish time at the beginning of the day, you will still be required to select 'Stop Activity'.  This is to take into account times you may end up working beyond your expected finish time.

  2. If you HAVEN'T selected your finish time at the beginning of the day, then you will need to select 'Stop Activity' then go to the small clock icon on the top left of the screen and select the date and time which will then allow you to enter a finish time.

NOTE

  • If there is a period of time in which there is no data entered, a section will appear for that time period in RED.  With the red box you will need to select 'Fill Gap' which will allow you to enter missed activities.
